Situated 35km west of Toowoomba, the JBS Beef City Plant forms an integral part of the Beef City integrated feedlot, processing, and farming facility. At Beef City, we prioritize animal welfare and product quality by minimizing stress and transportation costs through our unique process of walking cattle from the feedlot to the plant. Specializing in grain-fed beef production, our plant boasts a workforce of approximately 850 dedicated employees and a processing capacity of 999 cattle per day, catering to both domestic and international markets.
About the Role:
JBS Beef City is currently seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our production team across various roles within the Beef City Processing Plant.
- Full-time positions available, Monday to Friday, with optional overtime on Saturdays.
- Two shift options available for roles in the Boning Room, Kill Floor, and Cold Store areas:
- Day Shift: Approximately 5am to 2:30pm
- Afternoon Shift: Approximately 2pm to 11pm
- Entry-level positions start from $977.93 per week (+ full-time entitlements), with opportunities for salary advancement up to $1,492.97 per week (+ full-time entitlements) following skills development and training within the company.
About You:
- No prior experience necessary; comprehensive training provided.
- Strong team player with a willingness to engage in various tasks ranging from general labor to specialized roles.
- Commitment to adhering to and contributing to our robust Workplace Health and Safety (WHS), Quality Assurance, and Training programs.
- Access to reliable transportation for commuting to and from work (no public transport available).
- Demonstrated reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic, with opportunities for advancement and career progression within the company.
- Willingness to undergo a Q-Fever vaccination.
